Hi Everyone,
I’m excited to provide an update!
- The LGS (Lucasville Greenway Society) happily joined HRTA (Halifax Regional Trails Association) in January 2019! We’re excited at the trail development opportunities and experience that working with HRTA will bring to the future Lucasville Greenway. We look forward to contributing to HRTA’s continued success.
- We are working with HRM and consultant on initial design for a Greenway to span all of Lucasville Road. HRM Active Transportation has taken the initiative to develop this report, for which we are grateful. We’ll update when the report is finalized.
- On June 8, 2019, we held our first annual Walk and Summer BBQ, which was well attended! There was food (including cake), face painting and a balloon artist, and live music from an excellent band, Country Cousins. See below for photos.
